Xuan Zhao

Dr. Xuan Zhao is an assistant professor of the history of economic thought at the School of Economics, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics (China). He joined the SSTR program since January 2020. He has provided his assistance to Professor Perez mainly in respect of the chapter about Germany in the third surge from January 2020 to February 2021 and also since March 2023. He holds a PhD in history (history of economic thought) from the University of Manchester (UK), with a dissertation about German cameralism (German mercantilism). He also holds an MA in technology governance from Tallinn University of Technology (Estonia) and a BA in sociology from Nankai University (China).
